Veneto, Italy
A new proposal in the Venetian tourist scene : Venicexperience.com
Who we are
We are a bunch of professionals, some born others grown in Venice, but all associated by the firm choice of living in this city. Each of us comes from a different place – – has different working experiences, has different perceptions of the city: this mix delivers unique experiences to our tours and to our visitors.
What we do
We supply authentic and original private tours to individual and small-group travellers.
Sustainability is part of our professional background, happiness of our culture, curiosity of our Italian style and we want to share them with you.
Experience Venice through the authentic Italian way: eat and drink it! Select one of our great food tours to get in touche with Venice with all your senses: short food tours, food & wine tours, aperitif tours and more.
Venice is a small but labyrinthine city, every place seems to be close to reach and everything seems to be clear to understand: that’s not true, both for first time visitors and expert. Take one of our tours, visit off the beaten tracks spots and get orientated in Venice via our local guides.
Visit Venice from its main element: water. Venice was built in the middle of a lagoon and expands itself in all of it with several islands. See Venice and its lagoon with a boat tour to learn more about history and visiting a wonderful uncontaminated landscape.
Craftmen, artisans, ancient jobs are still active in Venice: old ones and new ones. Creativity has always been part of the city since its beginning: glass factories, laces, shipyards, publishers, arts and much more made Venice the wonderful city it is. Take a tour to visit old and new workshops, traditional and creative artisans, get in deep touch with the Venetian craftmanship, shop it.
Do not follow the crowd, forget the must-to-do and the must-sees, do not fall into the traps of banality,
be a traveller not a tourist, live a real experience, based on your interests and your curiosities!
Build your Venice experience tailored for you. That is exclusive, cultural, funny or sporty, but it’s your!
A private luxury boat which brings you on the magnificent Island of Rose to enjoy an aperitif by the swimming pool on the rooftop with great views of Venice.
A tailored walking tour through modern and contemporary art in Venice, accompanied by an Art Advisor.
A boat tour along the lagoon on a “colonial style” boat, where you can relax, drink Prosecco and bathing.
Jump on a row boat and learn how to row like a gondolier.
Enter a private house and enjoy a Venetian meal cooked especially for you.
Don’t put limits to your desires, we are here to achieve your bespoke Venice!

It is commonplace to believe that Venice has nothing to offer during the winter, actually the winter season is the best opportunity to discover and appreciate the true face of this amphibious city. No hordes of tourists crowded on the streets, no queues on the bridges, no sweltering heat … Also (definitely appreciable factor) hotels cost less!
The slight haze, the soft light and the silence that envelops everything, make Venice in winter particularly fairytale and mystical, just like the best Nordic literature describes it.
The city is finally lived by its inhabitants, and visiting it during the winter months it is easy to mingle with the daily life of the city, and experience what really means to live here.
This is why we propose a tour that allows you to capture the hidden essence of Venice, which remains demurely concealed during the months of tourist invasions.
It is a photographic workshop, addressed to both beginners and amateurs, and / or to the more experienced. The aim is of course to learn techniques and trick photography, but also you can grasp that typical aspect wintry, mystical, almost “gothic”, which characterizes some less touristy parts of the city.
Our proposal is divided into two phases: the first part takes place at the island of San Michele, the Venice’s cemetery, which is well suited to our goals, and a second part, at night (actually after 16:00 when the sun goes down), in the northern area of the city.
In the space of an afternoon, the photographer Nicolò Gemin (the author of the photos reproduced here), will accompany you on this photographic journey to reveal an unknown wintry Venice.
You can reach the island of San Michele either by vaporetto (public boat) or by private boat. The tour is designed for individuals or small groups.
Duration of the tour: about 3 hours
Participants: minimum 2, maximum 8 people
